History
Energy Invest Group was established in early 2007 by Nigel Harper to promote energy and remediation technologies. Prior to this Nigel worked in the oil industry for over 20 years, developing oil & gas plays primarily in the Former Soviet Union and West Africa. By late 2007, Tim Peara having met Nigel in a professional capacity in Russia, joined as a director bringing extensive knowledge of funding raising and the alternative energy sector from a career spent on Wall Street and as a founder of Alternative Energy Finance www.altenergyfin.com.
Tatiana Koroliova, a Russian citizen, was the next addition to the team, having previously worked with Nigel to build www.nimarha.com, a energy consultancy specializing in the FSU oil and gas sector. Her role at present manages EIG Russian interests.
This year Duncan Hughes, with a background in institutional fund management, joined EIG to lead Investor Relations. More recently Mike Hosie, a Chartered Accountant with success bringing a number of firms to pubic markets, has become our CFO.
EIG is incorporated in England & Wales (# 6731313). In June 2008 EIG originally opened a combined office, laboratory and technology demonstration site in Windsor, UK, some 20 minutes from London’s Heathrow airport, but in the Summer 2009 moved the Headquarters to Mayfair, London.
